On 'The O'Reilly Factor,' MRC's Tim Graham Discusses Media Ignoring Panetta's Criticisms of Obama
October 8, 2014, 10:59 PM EDT

Graham pointed out that when the former Secretary of Defense gave his first interview to CBS’s 60 Minutes, neither one of the other two major broadcast networks (ABC or NBC) covered it and the result was the same with O’Reilly’s interview.

Speaking on how “especially upsetting again” it was that none of the networks joined O’Reilly in asking Panetta about the Obama administration’s response to the 2012 attack in Benghazi. On what Panetta said about Benghazi, Graham thought that “Panetta's answers on that were really weak.”

Pliant Liberal Media Will Go 'Down in Flames' with Obama, MRC's Bozell Tells Fox Business Network's Varney
October 3, 2014, 5:24 PM EDT

President Obama often takes cheap pot shots at Fox News from the podium because it's the only network doggedly reporting on his administration's numerous scandals, Media Research Center founder and president Brent Bozell told Stuart Varney on the Friday, October 3 edition of his eponymous Fox Business Network program. The rest of the media, however, are "fully vested" in Obama and willing to go "down in flames" with his flailing administration.

MRC Gala: Bashir Wins 'Damn Those Conservatives' DisHonor for Wishing Someone Would S**t in Sarah Palin's Mouth
September 26, 2014, 5:05 PM EDT

It was no contest really. For the 2014 "Damn Those Conservatives to Hell" DisHonor, the winner hands down was former MSNBCer Martin Bashir, who infamously wished on national television -- if MSNBC can count as that -- that former Gov. Sarah Palin might be subject to someone defecating down her mouth.

Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner has been dogging the compilers of the formerly prestigious New York Times best-seller list for trying to deny best-seller status to conservative authors. First it was Dinesh D’Souza’s book America.

Now it’s David Limbaugh’s latest book Jesus on Trial. He reports the Times crew has “banished conservative legal author David Limbaugh’s latest, Jesus on Trial, from its upcoming best seller list despite having sales better than 17 other books on the list.”

September 8, 2014, 8:07 PM EDT

"When this administration is falling apart, the media should give it the exact same coverage they gave to George Bush," Media Research Center founder and president Brent Bozell told Fox News Channel substitute host Stuart Varney on the September 8 Your World w/Neil Cavuto. Weekend Open Thread: College Football Begins!
August 30, 2014, 11:51 AM EDT

College football really gets under way today (if you weren't watching your alma mater on Thursday or Friday night). We're hit with a wave of sadness, remembering the late Noel Sheppard today as he loved this time of year.

Florida State's slightly politically incorrect Seminoles are the favorites to take it all with a lot of experts. Share your thoughts on sports or anything else with us.

August 23, 2014, 11:32 PM EDT

MRC president Brent Bozell repeated his criticism of the media's rush to judgment in Ferguson on Fox's The Kelly File on Friday night. (His column appeared in Investor's Business Daily on Friday as well.)

Bozell has been out front urging the media to show restraint and dwell on the facts instead of getting emotional and deciding what the facts are going to be. He called the coverage so far a "travesty" in its lurch to leftist assumptions (Video, transcript below):

MRC's Brent Bozell on Foxnews.com: Media Censor Soros Connection to Perry Indictment
August 22, 2014, 4:53 PM EDT

In the 1990s, conservative efforts to probe the multiplying scandals of Bill and Hillary Clinton were funded by Richard Mellon Scaife, and when Hillary urged the media to expose a "vast right-wing conspiracy," they responded like Pavlov's dogs.

Now MRC president Brent Bozell has a commentary on Foxnews.com pointing out that these same national news outlets are censoring a similar angle on the Left. The outrageous indictment of Texas Gov. Rick Perry came from a complaint filed by a left-wing activist group funded by anti-capitalist billionaire George Soros.
