Network omits another politically incorrect story.

NBC seems to have a particular affinity for slyly removing the word “God” from the Pledge of Allegiance. During the U.S. Open golf tournament in 2011, viewers immediately noticed and called out NBC for editing out the phrase “under God” during the recital of the anthem.  Maybe since it’s been four years, NBC thinks it can get away with it again, because a promo for one of NBC’s new primetime shows again omits “under God” during a reciting of the pledge. Ironically, the show is called “Allegiance.”

Whenever a terrorist attack happens, it seems like the media jump through hoops to whitewash the incident to avoid using the dreaded “I” word. While it’s obvious to the public that the guy shouting “Allahu Akbar” during a televised beheading is probably not a practicing Methodist, the media would first speculate that he might be a white conservative, as they initially did with the Boston bombing. The latest deadly shooting on a French newspaper office that killed12 people is turning out to be another case of the media protecting radical Muslims.

Just yesterday, left-wing news blog Raw Story ran a story that asked why Fox News was obsessed with Islamic terrorist attacks. What perfect timing! Blogger Eric W. Dolan attacked Fox for blaming a beheading that occurred in September on Islamic terrorism.

Once again, the left is eager to use tragedy to make political statements and damage innocent people’s reputations.

Just before the new year, 17-year-old Josh “Leelah” Alcorn tragically committed suicide. Alcorn’s tumblr account revealed a suicide note that blamed the Christian parents for not letting the biologically male Alcorn get gender reassignment surgery and instead took Alcorn to Christian counseling which made the teen “hate religion,” the note charged.

Classic example of the left using tragedy to make political and social revolution

There are many provocative billboards in Times Square, especially around the holidays. Rarely do they have a positive message. But a new billboard by one Christian group might make the millions of tourists visiting this New Year’s Eve think twice.

Professional sports is becoming increasingly political, thanks to the media. Journalists love to praise players who flaunt that they fall into a sexual minority or bash players and coaches if they happen to mention their Christianity or politics.

But NBC completely forgot to mention how the NFL showed support to the two NYPD officers who were targeted and killed last week. Both New York Jets then-coach Rex Ryan and New York Giants coach wore “NYPD” hats for their game Sunday.

Good news from the latest Gallup poll – unless you’re a member of the Angry Atheists Club or the League of Whiny Secularists. Three-quarters of Americans identify as Christian. That number has remained virtually unchanged since last year- just a slight one percent drop.

Moreover, the latest Pew Research Poll reveals that most Americans, 72 percent in fact, support allowing Christian Christmas displays, such as Nativity scenes, on government property. Not only that but 65 percent of Americans, including the non-religious, believe the entire supernatural story of Jesus’ birth as told in the Gospels. The number shoots up to 81 percent when asked to Christians alone.

Salon and Alternet seem to exist only to provide click-bait for kooks. Alternet certainly succeeded with their Sunday article entitled, “Why rape is so intrinsic to religion” which was also cross-posted on partner site Salon.  In the article by Valerie Tarico, she tries to argue that the virgin birth of Jesus Christ was God raping Mary, similar to Greek and Hindu tales of gods raping women. “It’s a common theme in the history of religion, and it’s more than a little rapey,” Tarico claims.

Americans are currently faced with some hard questions: “How do we respond to Islamic terror?” “What do we think about the CIA ‘torture’ report?” “What can we make out of the Eric Garner case?” And of course, “Should pets be Americans too?”

That last one “may sound crazy” until you’ve gone for a spin in the Voxplainmobile with Zach Beauchamp. Vox, of course, is the site where self-regarding liberals take it upon themselves to explain the issues of the day to the great unwashed.

Thank Gaia for the ever-vigilant ACLU! Who else would have discerned the dire threat to civil liberty lurking in a California school’s effort to raise money for starving children in Africa?

A middle school in San Marcos, Cal., partnered with a local charity, Friends and Family Community Connection (FFCC), to raise money to send meals to children in Tanzania – innocent enough, right? Wrong. It turns out FFCC also worked with Kids Around the World (KATW) to accomplish the same goal. KATW is [cue sinister music] a Christian charity.

If you were on Capitol Hill midday Thursday you probably saw something unusual; a donkey, two camels and a procession of people dressed in Biblical attire. The religious liberty advocacy group Faith and Action hosted their annual Christmas event in D.C. and N.Y.C. where actors and animals portray the Biblical figures of the original Christmas story. The N.Y.C. nativity scene was reported on by Fox and Friends but the rest of the media overlooked the familiar scene.

Reverend Patrick Mahoney of Faith and Action and president of the Christian Defense Coalition admitted to MRC Culture, that the media in particular were “trying to scrub faith away from the public square” and “compress” displays like this, but the general public always responds positively to their annual event and appreciates the heartwarming reminder at this very commercialized time of the year.

Are one in five undergrad college-age women raped in the USA, as feminists, the media and even the White House says? Not so much.

A new report, ironically from the White House’s own Department of Justice, reveals that number is significantly lower than the media and the administration had reported previously.

Instead of the Daily Show’s usual targets – conservatives and Christians – atheists were the surprising villains on the Dec.9 episode of the left-leaning comedy show.

Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper pulled no punches, calling the atheist group Freedom from Religion Foundation “petty a**holes,” and “trolls” who needed to “lighten the f*ck up” for making a fuss over a diner offering small discounts to customers who pray before they eat.

When the news broke Friday that Rolling Stone Magazine (sort of) recanted it’s scandalous story of a brutal rape on the UVA campus, now thought to be based on a false account, conservatives blamed Rolling Stone for not vetting its sources well while Liberals trashed Rolling Stone too but for a different reason: “victim blaming.” To the left, this wasn’t a case of a magazine writing up a story based on an unverified account, but a slip up that affected their “rape culture” agenda. That’s why feminist Politico writer Julia Horowitz could say, “to let fact checking define the narrative would be a huge mistake.” Her sentiment wasn’t alone. Here are more terrible ways the left misdirected their anger to prove a political point:

Erin Gloria Ryan, Managing Editor of the feminist site Jezebel frequently tweets out inflammatory and hateful snarks about conservatives. Sometimes her attacks are so malicious they would spark a media outrage if she was a writer for a conservative publication.

For example, Ryan tweeted out last Dec. that she wished Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was dead instead of actor Paul Walker. Well today she tweeted this out about the recent decision to clear police officers in the death of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

On December 2, Jon Stewart brought on "The Daily Show" “Senior Black Correspondent" Larry Wilmore to bash conservatives for calling out the more deadly epidemic of black on black crime in light of the Ferguson protests. Wilmore is about to take over the "Colbert Report" spot at 11:30 pm after Jon Stewart with "The Nightly Show."

Liberal groupthink on display.

When it comes to social issues, you can always expect Jon Stewart, who the left loves to call a “moderate,” to toe the liberal party line. On Tuesday night’s “Daily Show,” Stewart spoke about the NFL’s St. Louis Rams players coming onto the field before the Sunday game with their hands raised in the Ferguson protesters’ gesture of “Hands up, don’t shoot.” To Stewart, the gesture was a “rare instance of social awareness” and “solidarity.”
