Tax Day is rapidly approaching and most Americans say the federal tax system “should be completely changed.”

The Pew Research Center recently conducted a poll that found a majority of Americans supported “Congress completely changing the federal tax system.” Pew announced the findings March 19, which showed 59 percent of its respondents agreed with a total overhaul of federal taxation.

Broadcast networks say nothing about support for tax overhaul and often cover taxes from the left.

Global warming alarmists have lost ground lately, but Congressional Democrats have implemented a new strategy: try to “silence” those with other views.

In separate instances, three Democratic senators and one Democratic representative have attempted to intimidate more than 100 companies, organizations and academics that diverge from the liberal view that climate change is catastrophic. The politicians have requested private information about their funding and asked for that documentation.

You get what you pay for. The liberal Soros and Ford foundations spent $196 million advocating for increased Internet regulation. New FCC rules revealed a shocking reliance on liberal activist groups those foundations funded, citing them a total of 206 times.

The 320-page document, released March 12, referenced groups like Common Cause, Free Press and Public Knowledge -- all which received Ford Foundation or Soros money. Public Knowledge was referenced 72 times and Free Press 61 times. Congress began grilling top FCC officials in multiple hearings about the controversial new Internet regulations March 17.

Cricket. It’s what’s for dinner.

At least that’s what lefty environmentalists are pushing as a substitute for meat like beef, pork or chicken. All for the sake of the environment. Yum.

Confucius say surprising things about capitalism.

Even more surprising was the decision by NBC News to promote the video from sister network CNBC about “Confucian capitalism” and the Chinese philosopher’s laissez-faire views of economics, given the network’s past attacks on capitalism.

Socialism has been blamed for turning Venezuela “into an authoritarian basket case,” but the broadcast news networks rarely admit that. In fact, the networks have even generally avoided identifying the country as socialist. This is especially important since the Obama administration just declared the nation a “national security threat and ordered sanctions against seven officials,” according to Reuters.

Venezuela’s leaders have clearly identified themselves as socialists. Late leftist president Hugo Chavez proclaimed, “We're heading toward socialism, and nothing and no one can prevent it.” Chavez’s successor Nicolás Maduro was elected in in April 2013 also committed himself to pursue “21st century socialism,” according to CNN.

Throughout the harsh winter of 2015, news media and TV talk shows continued to connect global warming and “manmade climate change” to blizzards and snowstorms, in spite of scientific disagreement.

Leading up to the latest snowstorm, the media doubled down on the assertion they have making for months that even winter weather can be blamed on climate change.

The latest social media phenomenon to "break the Internet" was more important to the broadcast news networks than the federal decision to regulate the Internet which could cost taxpayers billions of dollars.

The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) passed Internet regulations on Feb. 26, that reclassified the Internet as a public utility. In spite of the significance, the broadcast news networks evening shows (February 26) and morning shows (February 27) spent only four minutes and 10 seconds on the issue. What NBC's Today labeled "the great dress debate" got more than three times that coverage (13 minutes six seconds).

Morning news shows especially obsess over Twitter’s “great dress debate” rather than explain FCC Internet regulations.

The FCC is from the government and they’re here to help with your Internet. Invoking the agency’s Title II authority, commissioners of the FCC passed a plan to regulate Internet service providers (ISPs) like public utilities on February 26. This decision surely pleased the left-wing Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundations which gave groups calling for government Internet regulation millions of dollars.

The left has framed the debate over in terms of "net neutrality." Much of the left’s activism was supported by funding from $196 million from the Open Society and Ford foundations.

The news networks failed to report on the resignation of top UN climate official Rajendra K. Pachauri after he faced yet another scandal. Pachauri resigned after being accused of sexual harassment.

As the chairman of the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) beginning in 2002, Pachauri was a visible and controversial proponent of climate alarmism. The IPCC has been a favorite source for the networks catastrophic climate change claims.

The government could gain unprecedented control over the Internet, depending on the decision made this week by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It is a move long supported by top liberal foundations to the tune of at least $196 million.

On February 26, the commissioners of the FCC will decide if the Internet should regulated by the agency as a public utility as proposed by President Barack Obama and FCC chairman Tom Wheeler. Doing so would give “the FCC broad and unprecedented discretion to micromanage the Internet,” FCC commissioner Ajai Pai said in a February 10, press release.

Obamacare has increased the tax burden on taxpayers and companies, a fact ignored in recent broadcast news reports.

Obamacare created or hiked at least 13 taxes, Forbes reported February 17. Forbes contributor and tax lawyer Robert Wood said that for the average American, “it’s easy to be overwhelmed” by all the new taxes and forms that come with Obamacare.

CBS "Evening News" attempted to show that there is no link between vaccines and autism on February 10, but seemed confused that anti-vaccination views got "traction at all."

CBS News National Correspondent Jim Axelrod did a good job of showing how a "discredited" study by Dr. Andrew Wakefield scared parents away from the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, but he failed to acknowledge that his own network played a part in that fearmongering.

The Grammy Awards were not just a stage for musicians' egos in 2015, but a platform for promoting a cause backed by President Barack Obama and a Soros-funded organization.

CBS gave 1 minute, 12 seconds at the music awards to play a pre-recorded video with President Barack Obama, during which he promoted the "It's On Us" campaign against sexual violence.
