In recent weeks, thousands of negotiators from 196 governments met in Paris “for a major conference on climate change” attempting to reach an agreement for every country to lower its greenhouse gas emissions: emissions climate alarmists say will cause catastrophic climate change.

That conference, dubbed COP21, began on Nov. 30, and wrapped up with the announcement of a non-binding agreement on Dec. 12. The broadcast networks covered the conference at the beginning and the end. Initially, they hyped President Barack Obama’s participation and the resilience of the city of Paris in the wake of devastating terrorist attacks, and concluded by praising the results as “historic” “monumental” and a “turning point” on climate.

CBS also took the opportunity to advance pre-summit hype by showing back to back to back segments about climate crisis. Those stories including a New York Times poll of Americans that favored protecting the climate more than growing the economy, the problem of air pollution in China, and college-aged kids moving to the Arctic to study greenhouse gases.

Reason #47,321 to be glad you’re not a liberal: You get to enjoy your holiday and allow those around you to enjoy theirs. Not so for our left-wing counterparts, who mostly disdain Thanksgiving – along with Columbus Day, Independence Day, Flag Day, Christmas, Easter, etc. – freighting it with their liberal guilt and contempt for any one or thing that doesn’t reflect their enlightened world-view.

So while you’re eagerly tucking into your turkey and happily plopping potatoes on your plate, spare a thought for those fated to suffer through Thanksgiving though they know that what the Pilgrims wrought is nothing to celebrate. 

Never interrupt a liberal when he’s being superior in public – especially not if you’re going to bring your sky god into it. That is the takeaway from a recent article on (where else?) Salon.  

In light of the terror attacks in France, #PrayForParis was one of the many ways people on social media responded to the events to show their support. Seems perfectly fine right? Not to Salon. You see, all the shock and horror caused by Paris shouldn’t be soiled by anything so tacky as prayer.

But in the new commercial the stylish Barbie is completely outshined by the cheeky little boy who declares “Moschino Barbie is SO fierce!” and then places a purse accessory on Barbie’s arm.

There is no denying the horrors of the terrorist attacks on Paris, and even some liberals and their media pals are beginning to chafe at the left’s refusal to call radical Islam by its name. So maybe we’ve reached a tipping point, and will henceforth be allowed to speak frankly about who the enemy is. Unless of course the terror victims are Israeli.  

Israel faces acts of terror rooted in radical Islam daily – including insidious knife attack campaign currently going on in Israel’s streets. In the three months leading up to the ISIS’s deadly Paris attacks, the ABC CBS and NBC evening news programs have mentioned terror attacks on Israelis 30 times. Twenty-five of those stories describe the perpetrators as Palestinian. But not one made any mention of the words “Islam” or “Muslim” in reference to the attacks.

Never has an actor shown how dependent he is on good writing than Viggo Mortensen. Without J.R.R. Tolkien putting words in his mouth, the erstwhile Aragorn of Lord of the Rings sounds confused at best, and often downright idiotic. Never more so than in a recent interview wherein he meditated on the semantics of The Star-Spangled Banner.

What do you get when you mix one part conservative evangelical Christian, one part gun control, and sprinkle in a little Disney magic? The answer is a feel-good excuse as to why the second amendment should be done away with, which is exactly what director Abigail Disney’s documentary The Armor of Light is all about.

The media is absolutely applauding the grand-niece of beloved Walt Disney for making an anti-gun documentary from the perspective of an evangelical Christian pastor. Daily Beast writer Teo Bugbee gushed, “… the new film The Armor of Light offers a look at the issue of gun control with fresh eyes.” And, yes, exploiting Christianity to bolster banning guns is a pretty fresh take.

Campfires and strip clubs go hand in hand for an upcoming R-rated Boy Scout movie, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse. This Friday “the Scouts honor” image will get an upgrade as three boys put their leadership to the test while fending off blood sucking zombies accompanied by a female stripper clad in daisy dukes and see-through shirt.

The real Boy Scouts aren’t exactly happy campers about the whole thing though, especially since the organization has already received a fair share of criticism for caving to political correctness. But the organization’s concerns are legitimate in that pop culture often portrays Scouts in an unsavory light. Which brings us to Scouts slaying zombies.

Hollywood is all about serving up gallons of the LGBT agenda Kool-Aid. And come November, viewers will get to sample the new trans-flavored offering in The Danish Girl.

The Danish Girl is the true story of a married Danish man who stands in last minute as a female for his wife to paint. He becomes fascinated with feeling like a woman and decides to trade in his loafers and ties for stockings and silk and becomes his alter personality, Lili Elbe. And just like the “stunning and brave” Caitlyn Jenner, the character Lili Elbe has been hailed as a historical transgender pioneer.
